AI Enablement Tech Sales Intern

Location: Remote-first with possible in-person meetups in either NY/DC locations.
Work Authorization: Not eligible for immigration or visa sponsorship. Candidates must already have valid work authorization for the country in which they will intern for the full program duration.

About the Role
IQM is seeking an AI Enablement – Tech Sales Intern to sit at the intersection of AI, technology, and go-to-market execution. This is a hands-on internship where you’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to help translate AI capabilities into practical workflows, clear messaging, and tools that enable more effective customer conversations.
This role matters as we increasingly use AI and automation to scale our sales efforts — requiring better ways to explain complex capabilities, support demos, and improve how teams operate. In this position, you’ll play a key role in helping sales teams communicate value, simplify technical concepts, and move faster with AI-enabled workflows.
The work includes contributing to solutions such as improving sales enablement materials, supporting AI-driven demos, creating clear use-case narratives, and helping teams adopt smarter, more efficient ways of working.
What You’ll Do
- Support AI-focused sales enablement initiatives.
- Help create and maintain sales enablement decks, one pagers, and internal documentation.
- Assist with AI product explanations, use case documentation, and internal FAQs.
- Experiment with AI tools and workflows to improve productivity, content creation, and internal processes.
- Support demo preparation and walkthrough materials for sales conversations.
- Conduct competitive and market research to support positioning and messaging.
- Develop prospect facing educational content that simplifies technical concepts.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Product, RevOps, Marketing, and Engineering.

It also includes building and automating AI-driven workflows for continued use, driving meaningful and lasting impact.
Who We’re Looking For
- Junior/Senior student currently pursuing a degree (or recent graduate) in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical curiosity and interest in AI or SaaS products.
- Strong problem solving and presentation skills.
- Curious, adaptable, analytical, and coachable mindset.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Prior internship, coursework, or personal project experience related to AI, SaaS products, or tech-enabled business workflows.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for content creation, research, or workflow automation.
- Exposure to sales, marketing, or customer-facing environments (e.g., demos, presentations, or outreach).
- Experience creating structured content such as presentations, documentation, or internal knowledge resources.
- Basic understanding of data, analytics, or reporting concepts.
Tools and Platform Exposure
Depending on the specific project, this role will provide hands-on exposure to the following:
- CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Enablement platforms (Notion, Confluence, internal tools)
- Presentation tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint)
- AI tools and internal platforms
- Analytics and reporting dashboards
Compensation
This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate which may vary depending on location and program track. Additional details will be shared as you move forward in the interview process.
